The Department of Electrical Engineering has been in existence since the inception of G.P. Beed in 2021 and has grown into a full fledged department with specialisations in all the major areas of Electrical Engineering.

The Department has well-established A/C Machine Lab, D/C Machine Lab, Basic Electrical Lab, Electrical Measurements Lab, Switch Gear And Protection Lab, Power Electronics Lab. Various activities are organized to develop soft skills of the students such as In-plant Training, Paper Presentation, Industrial Visits, and Expert Lectures, etc.

    To provide foundation in principles of electrical engineering and apply that knowledge to variety of problems.
    To build technically competitive and skilled graduate to meet requirements of industry.
    To build ethical values and soft skills for the betterment of society.
    To develop an ability for pursuing higher studies, research and development in electrical engineering, consultancy and entrepreneurship.

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)

PEO 1.   Provide socially responsible, environment friendly solutions to Electrical engineering related broad-based problems adapting professional ethics.
PEO 2.   Adapt state-of-the-art Electrical engineering broad-based technologies to work in multi-disciplinary work environments.
PEO 3.   Solve broad-based problems individually and as a team member communicating effectively in the world of work.
